African Student Association creates a welcoming environment for both African and non-African students alike at Virginia Tech in which they can contribute to awareness and activism relating to Africa.

We are deelply rooted in our African cultures, traditions, and heritage here at Virginia Tech. We strive to educate the Virginia Tech community about issues and concerns specific and unique to

Africa. One of our main goals is to reach out to the African community in the Blacksburg area through social events and

service.

We foster productive and collaborative relationships with other cultural and non-cultural organizations with regard to relevant causes and topics.
